FAQ

● Can I use it in the air?

Yes.

● Can the cable be extended?

If the cable is too long or there are multiple devices on the bus, the IIC timing may be affected. Reducing the value of the IIC pull-up resistor and changing it to a strong pull-up can improve the situation. Or add an IIC relay chip to extend the cable.

● Does the sensor wrapped inside the screw have any effect on the temperature measurement? Does it slow down the response?

Aluminum alloy housing has been as thin as possible, in addition to the internal filling of high thermal conductivity epoxy resin to improve the response speed.

● Does the temperature need to be calibrated and what data is read by the iic interface? Do I need to process it to get the temperature data?

The chip has built-in calibration coefficients, the IIC reads the 24-bit ADC data and gets the temperature data after the calibration coefficients are calculated, you can download the sensor manual below to view the details.
